The Ship Inn is now under the new management of Edward Haywood. We have recently undertaken a major refurbishment extending our dining facilities and generally updating all the facilities for your enjoyment, we look forward to welcoming you whether for a relaxing drink in our no smoking Lounge bar or in our Public bar complete with television and darts or for a meal in our new dining area. Our hours of opening for food are daily:

Lunch: 12.00 - 14.00
Evening Meals: 17.30 - 21.00

Sunday Lunch: 12.00 - 16.00
1 course £7.00 - 2 courses £8.00

Why not join us on our Curry and a Pint for £5 evenings every Thursday evening.

We have a specials board, which changes weekly, of locally sourced food and vegetables to tickle your taste buds. With his new team in the kitchen we make the majority of desserts and breads are home made and our specials can include items such as terrines, sea bass with coriander and lime lamb rump with braised red cabbage and we also smoke our own fish in house, these are in addition to our normal full menu containing our Main Courses, Kiddies Meals, Desserts & Wine Lists. We have a family room and plenty of seating outside on our patio.

We have a Large car park and Children's Playground area available.

Disabled access and full Disabled WC plus baby changing facilities available.

We have log fires in the winter in our public bar.
