I am building the 30 tutorial pages of this Web Site in numerical sequence. So, as of today, I estimate that many tutorials will still not be available for some time. But, rest assured, they will appear. The first four introductory tutorials took quite a time to finalise, but from then on I aimed to produce a tutorial at the rate of about one every 4-6 weeks. I'm afraid I've not been able to meet that target. This last six months, I have had an incredible number of successive problems with computer equipment. Hopefully I will improve delivery from now on with this latest update. No.8. - this is the last of PART I (8 Tutorials on Prehistoric and Ancient Pottery.) Many of you will realise that putting together such a series of illustrated Web Tutorials is a time-consuming project. Although I enjoy designing and building the site, there are quite a lot of different tasks involved; reorganising lecture material for text, choosing and scanning my slides, much new camera work in museums, image making, designing, checking, testing - the days, weeks pass!
