Game 2.

Next Simon Corbishley with his 101st Airborne, hero(tank), 2 riders(light tanks), 2 flyers(gunships), airboat(big chopper), shooters (infantry including the general). He defended and spread along his table edge. I went for unreasonable force and bunched in one corner so I could crash in en masse.

 

His flyers went for a flank attack so I sent Anderson to deal with them and then advanced. Simon cautiously sent his shooters up his right flank through the BUA and advanced with his hero, riders and airboat. He crash in and I managed to hold the line and had time to re-arrange a second line of defence.

One of his flyers broke off from Judge Anderson to support Simon's attack, but the other was still pinned. I held held again with the Blades and took out a rider. Dredd blew away the airboat and Simon was starting to worry as his hero was now exposed. Lines were re-dressed and then I did a silly move, I moved Anderson so unpinning his Flyer an sent Dredd off to take on his shooters unspupported. Simon got good pips and exposed my cock-up by sending 2 shooters into Dredd and the Flyer in behind. I lost Dredd and a Blade to the other Flyer so went down 5-43.
