AK47 Chez Graham Harrison

This was a very good game at Graham's place. James Ewins was in Uxbridge on a course and had never played AK47, so I picked him up after work and we toodled off to Graham's.

Graham used his Religious Fanatics, I had my Colonial Settlers whilst James used a Super Power Backed Force that I'd prepared earlier.

The Govenor's Residence is the large red brick building and had been taken over by the zealots, (Graham's religious boys were defending)
they also had the crossroads and the scrub behind it....for no other reason than useless scrub must be defended by militia - it's the law !
They also had 2 tanks covering the wood and the arrval point of the colonial Settlers. The knowledgable will realise that made 4, yes 4 ! defending units
on the table !! The Client force arrived on the right with their regular infantry and helicopters. Planning to take the barracks and pin down the troops in the
cross roads. The Colonials deployed in the airport terminal with militia who then drank all the duty free. Their towed guns deployed to take on the tanks
of the fanatical nutters, and the infantry supported by 2 jeeps with RR made for the cover of the shanty town.

The choppers started by shooting up the regular zealots at the crossroads with some success. Sadly they did not pursue this to the end and broke
off to attack the Colonials who were taking over the airport buoldings. Ultimately this was the reason graham won (it was all James' fault :-) ) as
the choppers were completely ineffectual against my militia in the template.

The choppers take on my militia but for no gain at all. In fact the militia even scored a kill on one and a pin on the other, sadly the kill was
saved because he'd moved over 12 inches. By now James had the barracks and I was in the shanty town exchanging fire with the milita in
Govenor's house. My 2 Jeeps with RRs went up in smoke very quickly.

James and I got reserves on and both determined to centre on the barracks which ended up in a militia bun fight to no
purpose as before they could do any serious damage it was all over. The reserves had only just arrived so the choppers
moved off to another target just after the picture below. The fire tender was racing out to put out fires on the runway.

My Profs finally arrived with my 3 complimentary tanks and the Religious tanks ran off....err... re-deployed. All pointless of course as you will see.

James' tanks also arrived and headed for the crossroads.

In the turn after their arrival my profs got one shot in only and end of game was called.

The last scene looked as below. I'd got wasted in the shanty town and left, as did the religious nuts in the Govenor's house. The pride of
the colonial artillery was a smocking ruin. James had been driven from the barracks and neither my militia could get their in time. Both
choppers were still on the table. Graham's tanks were trying to redeploy to ..err... take on the choppers and my professionals coming up behind.
Graham still held the crossroads and useless swamp. A quick total of points gave Graham a resounding and ..ahem...deserved victory. In James
we made a new convert.
