Hello, our names  are Sergio, Ginevra and Giulia and we are from  Italy. Sergio is in the UK since 1999 and Ginevra since 2001 after finishing her PhD at the Universita' degli Studi di Milano. Giulia is Sergio and Ginevra's daughter and was born in April 2001.

Sergio completed his PhD in Earth Sciences at the Universita' degli Studi di Milano in 1998, after a Master in Electronic Engineering in 1995 (Politectnico di Milano).  Sergio is now a geophysicist and works on the development of new seismic exploration techniques.

Ginevra also has a PhD in Earth Sciences (can you guess how and where Sergio and Ginevra met?), and a Master in Physics completed in 1998. Ginevra is currently research associate in a London university and works on fluid flow simulation for fractured reservoirs.

Giulia is now 3 year old and goes to pre-school. She enjoys drawing, jumping, running, dancing riding the trike and baking biscuits with mummy (she particularly enjoys the most messy bits of the process). Giulia is also a keen collector of DVDs.
