Welcome on board!
Willkommen, Bienvenidos and Fáilte!
Welcome to yet another private homepage with plenty of links to the areas of my professional and private interests.
I’m a Glasgow (Scotland) based German language tutor and translator. In my second incarnation, I’m a PhD student - but hopefully not for much longer. My PhD project investigates the narrative and dramatic presentation of “Gypsy” characters in German language literature and film. Sometimes I also take the shape of a gardener, runner, hill walker, cyclist, thai-boxer or human rights activist.
If you are interested in a quality translation by my one woman company Linguanet or some customised (oh I love that word) German language tuition, please get in touch! One of these days this website will include some state of the e-commerce-art info on the language services I can provide. In the meantime, have a look at some of the amazing sites below and simply send me an email if you want to learn some German or need a document translated. Happy browsing and do get in touch if you have any questions, comment or think that your link belongs here too. Links marked with * are hosted by me.
