All About ME!.

Soooooo, you want to know all about me eh? okay dokey.
This bit still in progress, but there's a little bit of me here, such as:

My tattoos.

Tattoo number 1
I've always wanted a tattoo since I was about 12, getting 1 done is not something that you rush into, so by the time I was 18 I'd more or less had an idea what I wanted.
The tattoo on the left is my first tattoo, on the top of my left arm. I didn't want the usual butterfly or rose that most girls get for their first. I wanted a dragon, I don't like the chinese style dragons, I wanted more of the fantasy style, but all the pictures I could find were never just right, either the wings wern't big enough, or the tail had one of those arrow type forky thingys on the end.
For ideas I decided to buy a tattoo magazine and have a flick through, and I did find what I wanted. But not on a photo of someone's arm or leg, but actually from a page advertising tee-shirts and hoodies, and on this one tee-shirt was the perfect dragon, only problem was the picture was about the size of a postage stamp.
But for the clever tattoo guy this was no problem, he copied the drawing onto my arm by drawing it on in biro (and then remarking "Doesn't hurt that bad does it?") before starting for real. I've never felt pain like it, it finally finished after about 1 and 1/2 hours, but it was worth every second of pain.
original picture
The original picture of the dragon in the magazine (above right)was coloured mainly red with a yellow front, but the tattooist, who's name was Steve, told me that purple would be a much more striking colour, and I agree with him. I left the 'White Dragon Tattoo' parlour completely happy with myself and my body art (and also £30 poorer).

My second choice of tattoo (on the right) was not the one that I went into the tattoo parlour wanting, I wanted thin trailing vines and roses twisting up and around my leg.
But the tattooist, this time a Mr Doc Price from a tattoo parlour simply called 'Tattoos', advised me that from a distance the thin trailing vines would look more like thin trailing varicose veins! So he drew the roses on, again in biro, this time the tattoo was not copied from a picture, it all came from his head.
This time the pain was worse, and, I'm ashamed to say, I actually fainted after about 10 mins, when I came to I scolded the tattooist for not finishing while I was out cold!
The tattoo took about 2 hours to complete, mainly because I had to keep stopping him every 10 mins when I felt lightheaded again.
This time I left the parlour with a sight limp and my wallet £60 lighter.
Tattoo number 2

Tattoo number 3
My third tattoo is the Foot Ninja emblem (bad guys from the ninja turtles). I choose this design because I wanted something with a ninja turtles connection and while watching the new show I noticed that Shredder's sidekick, Hun, has a purple dragon on his left arm (its his gang symbol) and Shredders symbol on his right arm. My first tattoo, on my left arm, is also a purple dragon so I thought I'd copy Hun and get the Foot emblem too.
This one was done at Elemental tattoo and was going to set me back £50. You may think that's a bit expensive but once I knew what I wanted I just wanted it done. Someone had recommended Elemental tattoo, so I didn't bother to shop around for a price, he said £50 and I said "Can you fit me in today?", which he did.
After he did the outline I fainted (again!) and I think he felt sorry for me cos he let me off a tenner. Might try that trick again!!

I have plans for more tattoos, I definitely want a tattoo of Raphael, probably on my hip, but I want to loose some weight first, so my tummys nice and flat!
I also want a full sleeve done, I'd like tiger stripes down my arm, but my job (my boss isn't a tattoo lover) and my bank balence won't allow it at the moment. So I've got plenty of time to get the image right in my head and right on paper.

So watch this space, there maybe some new pics soon.

My pets.

Shredder.
At the moment I only have 2 pets, 2 rats, that's Shredder on the left, sitting on my shoulder, and Splinter on the right. I think rats are much more interesting than hamsters or gerbils, mainly because you can handle them more, I have loads of memorys where I am on my stomach under the bed trying to capture my escaped gerbil, I've never had to do that with Splinter or Shredder, they generally like following me around the house.
I would like more pets, for example ferrets, dogs, cats, snakes, tarantulas and one of those brightly coloured Amazon parrots. But unfortunately, I rent a flat, so all I'm allowed are 2 rats in a cage.
But just wait till I get my own place!!!

On a sad note, since writing this Splinter has gone to the big sewer in the sky. :'(

Splinter.

Scraggy

I used to have a Maine Coon cat called Scraggy, who's real name was Sylvester. I was given Scraggy as a christmas present from my dad, and was told Scraggy was a tom cat. I walked into the kitchen one day to find him rolling around on the floor and meowing, thinking he was hurt we rushed him to the vets, where we were told that he was acting like that because 'he' was in season and was actually a she.
My mum had nicknamed her Scraggy, cos she was a ball of fluff, and the name kinda stuck. She was really shy and quiet and mostly a good kitty, but she did have a naughty habit of sharpening her claws on the carpet. So after a few years she'd gone one step too far, and unfortunately down to the cats home she went. I still miss her and hope she went to a good home.

Boots (on the left) and C-C (the right) were another two cats we had around the same time as I had Scraggy, they were pedigree cats and were supposed to be happy being house cats. However too many cats in the house caused too many problems, as much as we loved them, the furniture didn't, and they went too.

My mum was recently pursuaded by my step-dad to purchase a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, she is soooo cute, her name is Lucy. She has a habit of tugging on your shoe laces, which can be annoying, she also will not walk very far on pavement, she will get out the front door and plonk herself on the floor. You end up carrying her to the park, when she gets there thou' she's running around like a mad running thing. Until...you want to go home, where she plonks herself on the pavement again and you have to carry her back home. Which was fine when she was small, but she's now about 15 weeks and is getting rather heavy.
UPDATE
Lucy is now all grown up and has a little staffy sister called Chloe, they are both enjoying life in my mums hew house in Bulgaria.
Lucy did give mum and Paul (my step-dad) a scare recently. My mum was in Britain, visiting me and my brother, and she got a call from Paul, who was still in Bulgaria, and he said Lucy had gone missing. Both Lucy and Chloe had been let out while the builders were working on the house, when Paul went to see what they were up to he found Chloe asleep but no Lucy. He looked everywhere but couldn't find her, both mum and Paul were very upset. Luckily the next day a neighbour spotted her tied up in someones garden, they'd thought she was a stray and had taken her home. So a happy ending.

RUTH

Introducing my bestest EVER mate, Ruth. Ive known her since I first started Secondary school. I was quiet shy in Primary school and didn't really have any close friends.
When I started Secondary school I met Ruth through a few mutual friends, but didn't really get to know her until the end of the school year when we had 'activity week'. We decided that so we didn't look like loners we would pair up and stick together for the week. The activities we chose were mainly picked because they were either free or cheap.

Day 1 and 2 were sewing (like I said, free or cheap). We picked what we would like to make and those 2 days were spent sewing (obviously) and chatting and sewing and lunch and sewing and bitching about others in the class, oh yeah, and sewing. At the end of the 2 days Ruth had a brand new penguin teddy, and I had a tiger teddy, we were both pleased with our results.

Day 3 was sailing in Plymouth Sound. I got hit in the head with the boom (the bar at the bottom of the sail) and Ruth almost capsised the boat. I think the instructor was glad we were only there for one day.

Day 4 and 5 were rambling. On day 4 we met up at the designated spot (a carpark), we sat down on a bench inside the carpark and waited for the rest of the group. An hour or so later no-one else, not even the teacher, had turned up. However, we didn't let that worry us and we carried on chatting. 2 hours on it started raining, so we sat in a handy bus shelter that was next to the bench, and continued our conversation. After a while the rain stopped so we moved back out (the bench in the shelter wasn't as comfy as the one outside).
Every now and then we wondered where the teacher and the group was, but we didn't dwell on the question. "They'll be here in a minute." We kept telling each other. So instead we chatted, we watched some ants wondering around, we had lunch, we threw a grape into the path of a bus and watched it instead get crushed by a pram wheel, we counted the number of red cars in the carpark, and we noticed how the carpark attendant kept looking at us like we were weird.
About 3 or 4 o'clock we decided that the group wasn't coming so we rang Ruth's mummy and she came to pick us up.
Day 5 Ruth's mum drove us to the spot and waited incase the teacher didn't turn up again. He turned up and we discovered we'd been waiting in the wrong place. We were waiting INSIDE the carpark and we should have been waiting OUTSIDE! DUH!!
He also said no-one else had turned up and we couldn't go rambling with just two of us, so he took us back to the school and we played computer games all day!.

Ever since that week me and Ruth have been bestest mates. Ruth, I just wanna say thanks for making that week one of the best ever in my life, it wouldn't have been the same with anyone else. Thanks for being my mate, I love you, you're great. x x x
