Membership of the North West Surrey Group would bring you and your family:

• monthly indoor meetings, except in July, August and December, with talks and presentations by invited speakers;
  
  
• monthly one-day outdoor meetings to the many bird-watching sites and reserves within about a 100-mile distance of Chertsey;
  
  
• several longer distance trips per year, eg to France, Norfolk etc, either by car, minibus or coach;
  
  
• regular wildfowl counting at a nearby site;
  
  
• various social activities, including annual square dance and barbecue;
  
  
• three free newsletters per year, packed full of useful information, including reports by members on their more interesting bird-watching experiences; and
  
  
• a wide range of RSPB goods for sale, such as bird seed, Christmas cards etc.
  
  

There would also be ample opportunity to make new friends with a common interest, and less experienced bird watchers would particularly welcome opportunities to learn more about bird identification, songs, habitats and habits.

If you would like to try our indoor or one-day outdoor meetings and meet group members before deciding on joining the Group and/or the RSPB, please feel to come to our events. There will be no charge to Wildlife Explorers, but other visitors will be asked to donate £1 towards the cost of meetings.
