Morals !
Don't worry about the exact spec of your bike - just
GET IT OUT THERE !
Someone will tell you if something doesn't match the
REGS and you will usually be allowed to race and fix it for the NEXT MEETING !
(Except high noise levels, which are enforced by the
ACU not the CLUB, so take emergency stuffing stuff if you're not confident !)
Pay attention to how SAFE your bike is not how FAST it
is !
To finish first, first you have to finish !
If in doubt, go on a track day !
You'll get more laps than when you're racing, and at
YOUR pace, so you can learn how you and your bike go without the distraction
of someone coming the other way !
If you choose a track you're going to race on, you
can get to know it at YOUR pace.
If you got here you've got internet access, so if you need to ask a
question about old bike racing generally, go to www.crmc.co.uk
and post a question on the 'Message Board'. The CRMC site has been running for
some time and has a lot of people that browse it.
