Are within a short distance where local culture can be experienced.Also within easy driving distance are the towns of Torrevieja, Santa Pola, La Marina, Alicante, and Benidorm .Buenavista is a short car or bus ride from Guardamar Del Segura where there are parks, shops, restaurants, funfairs , and a nice promenade.

The Terra Mitica Theme park is near Benidorm ( about an hours drive on the motorway) and is a great day out !
