Why is BWD offering this service

I can make money amending text and the odd image on your site but it is not what I want to do. I have therefore made it as easy as I can allow you to do it yourself so that I get to do the stuff I like such as all that gobbledygook code, allowing you to concentrate on the content of your site without having to spend years and thousands of pounds learning html, xhtml, js, css, ...

I have seen companies charging a lot less?

Your site is made to a very high standard with the aim to producing a site that is cross browser friendly and will be as future proof as possible. Take one of the cheaper company's client's sites and test it by going to http://validator.w3.org/ - you have found a bargain if there are no errors and the site passes and it also meets with search engine friendliness.

It takes a lot of time to make a site pass, search engine friendly, and look good in all browsers.

Search Engines

By auto submitting to the search engines you should be index (site included on data base of top search engines) by the vast majority of the web, however to be constantly number 1 is impossible. Some companies specialize in this area and packages start from £500 per year for this service. If you require a better search listing, you should seek the services of one of these companies, however I can amend your site that will help (charges will apply for this work).

Important

Terms and Conditions

You will need to purchase a copy of Contribute (the program that allows you to amend your site) available from Macromedia, Dabs... or anywhere you can get it cheaper (current price is about £70.00 one off fee).

BWD Invoices are due within 30 days - non payment of invoices will lead to suspension of services (email/web hosting) and may require a £25.00 fee to reinstate. You are signing up for three years minimum, your annual fee is £100 and will not increase more than 5% pa over your 3 year period.

Transferring away from BWD

Your site design and code is the copyright of BWD. You would need to pay the remaining years' charges if you wished to move away.

If BWD ends trading your account and site will default to the current designated hosting company with no loss of email or hosting. Typically, there will be no increase or change in hosting and/or current services.
