I have seen companies charging a lot less?

Your site is made to a very high standard with the aim to produce a site that is cross browser friendly and will be as future proof as possible. Take one of the cheaper company's clients' sites and test it by going to http://validator.w3.org/ - you have found a bargain if there are no errors and the site passes and it also meets with search engine friendliness and accessibility guidelines.

To make a site pass, search engine friendly, and look good in all browsers takes a lot of time.

Search Engines

By auto submitting to the search engines you should be index (site included on data base of top search engines) by the vast majority of the web, however to be constantly number 1 is impossible. Some companies specialize in this area and packages start from £500 per year for this service. If you require a better search listing, you should seek the services of one of these companies, however I can amend your site that will help (charges will apply for this work).

Terms and Conditions

BWD Invoices are due within 30 days - non payment of invoices will lead to suspension of services (email/web hosting) and may require a £25.00 fee to reinstate. You are signing up for three years minimum, your annual fee is £100 and will not increase more than 5% pa.

Transferring away from BWD

Your site design and code is the copyright of BWD. You would need to pay the remaining years' charges if you wished to move away.

If BWD ends trading your account, your site will default to the current designated hosting company with no loss of email or hosting. Typically, there will be no increase or change in hosting and/or current services.

I could write pages trying to explain how BWD and the web works, or you could call for a free no obligation chat allowing me to explain all your questions.

How to start

if local you could call and we could go through the ideas for the site once the bones of the site design are sorted you can write the text for your site in word or any other text editor ready for me to put into a solid html format. Images can be digital or standard photos I will be able to resize scan, and adjust accordingly.

Quality

All BWD sites will be written to modern code standards html.4 or xhtml transitional and all styles remote via a CSS file, the code will also be verified to the international w3 org standard. Currently less then 6% of the web is to this level of standard you can be proud that your site meets this.
