Visit lovely Shropshire where we saw Witley Court, Stokesay Castle, Shrewsbury, the Long Mynd, Powis Castle (just across the border in Wales) and the world's first iron bridge ...at Iron Bridge, of course. On the way home we dropped into Hidcote Manor Garden in Gloucestershire.

Waddesdon Manor is a National Trust mansion worth looking at; a Rothschild chateau complete with state-of-the-art carpet bedding, an aviary, rose gardens, children's playground and the most stunning collection of European decorative arts. One of Erin's favourites.
