It
was while working for an Australian fashion house in the 1970's that Lyndall
first had the opportunity to travel to Europe and see other cultures first
hand. In 1979 she took six months leave from her job and headed for London.
It has been home ever since. During holidays in farflung parts of the world she has developed a
love of photography - particularly the faces of strangers. In 1998,
whilst waiting for inspiration for a new career, Lyndall decided to
travel, firstly overland to Kathmandu and then across West Africa. It
was on these journeys that the photographs on the following pages were
taken. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as she enjoyed the brief glimpses of the lives of others. |
