These pictures may be built up from a pastel or acyrilc backgound and can incorporate many found items.
I am constantly adding to my collection of organic and mineral objects which I seek out on my sketching trips and visits to the shores of north Cornwall.
My garden is a great source of materials such as leaves and bark, many of which I grow, press and dry especially for the purpose, whilst the lanes surrounding my home give me a never ending supply of lichens and grasses.
I am always looking for new materials to inspire me and help bring new ideas and change to my work.
