Up's and Downs at Garrigill

20 miles approx

Take the Pennine Way up out of Garrigill and along to Greg's Hut (GR:692355). ( If the weather is bad, it might be advisable to have an early brunch as this is the only real shelter on the whole walk.) Then up to Cross Fell (893m), down and up to Little Dun Fell (842m), down and up to Great Dun Fell (847m) and carry on down the Pennine Way to Dun Fell Hush (GR:716318).There is then a cross country section along the footpath beside trout beck to the bridge over the Tees at GR: 761339.Then final downhill all the way along the good road into Garrigill
