News, news and more news

March 2003

Welcome to 'Dyslexic Friends'. Spring is just around the corner and the evenings are getting lighter.

I am planning a makeover for the website and would welcome any suggestions. What would you like to see? Competitions, quizzes, crosswords, more news, interviews?

Parents and teachers

Why not check out our forum pages? I am planning to delete all the old messages so that we can get some new discussions up and running.

If you have views on how schools deal with dyslexia then why not share them?

Do you have concerns about your child and don't know what to do - why not put it to the forum?

Alternatively, why not raise your own questions or points of view?

New - Guestbook

We would love to hear from the people who visit our site. Please sign our guestbook and tell us what you think of our site.

Doing G.C.S.E's this year? Are you struggling with coursework, revision or just generally fed up with school? Our Teenage Email Pals page is a place to make new friends whether you are dyslexic or not. On our Teenage Tips page you can find advice that other dyslexic teens have found helps. Why not send in some of your own tips?

Remember - to make these pages work we need lots of contributions from YOU!

Take a look at:

You're a star - our skies are dark at the moment. We have no stars above us. We know that there are millions of them out there though. Do you know someone who deserves a special mention. Have they done really well with a new hobby or sport? Tried really hard at school? Are they always really helpful at home?

Everyone deserves to be praised and made a fuss of. Let us know their name, send us a photo if you can and we will do the rest.

Famous Dyslexics - keep sending us names of others you know of.
