Redevelopment of
the Club
The consultants
Strategic Leisure have completed the feasibility study on
plans for redeveloping and up grading the club's facilities. This
was presented to the funding bodies (Lottery /Wirral Water Front)
at the beginning of April . We are now awaiting their response which
we hope to have within six months .
As the refurbishment
of the Squash courts, which is part of this plan ,will not occur
for at least two years from now, given the processes and building
time of a successful bid , we will carry on with some refirbishment.
Plans are :
* To Double glaze
the viewing gallery windows and curtain them to improve heat retention.(
Completed 1/11/02)
*Re carpet
the Gallery ( Tiles purchased )
*
Clean and re mark the Floor
*Instal
Improved Heating to the Courts ( due Sept 2003)
