The Clones Bedminster, Bristol, April 2002 BBC1 provides canvas to illustrate increasing links
between bush and Blair.

Bedminster Down, Bristol, Feb 2002 Explaining the reality behind this unlovely corporation.
Inspired by the heroic McLibel pair who fought McDonalds through the courts
and won legal victories and highlighted their practices against tremendous
odds.

Temple Meads & Bedminster, Bristol, Nov 2001 As Blair targets the unemployed the spotlight is
turned on him for the unwarranted attack on Afghanistan.

Bedminster, Bristol, July 2002 An advert for Kronenbourg (brewed in the U.K.). Text
reads “ If Britain were French… this poster wouldn’t be censored” to which
has been added, “If Britain were enlightened… this woman wouldn’t be
exploited”.
Ashton Gate, Bristol, Mar 2002 A simple adjustment and the opposite message is achieved.
This one only lasted around 24 hours before being replaced by the billboard
company.
Temple Meads, Bristol, May 2002 Inspired by Andy Warhol and using Marilyn Monroe’s eyebrows an
alternative jubilee message covered the whole billboard.
Bedminster, Bristol, Aug 2002 The message of the indispensability of the car in the modern
age, subverted to give a realistic image of its effect on current
lifestyles.

Bedminster Down, Bristol, Oct 2002 "You can't have McDonalds without McDonnell Douglas"
(Thomas Friedman). As the US moves towards a war for oil, the connection between
the military and global economic expansion is exposed.
Brislington, Bristol, July 2002 “Pictures” gets changed to “Peace” and the message becomes a
reminder of the appalling plight of the Palestinian people.
Temple Meads, Feb 2002, Bristol. As the world prepared itself for war, these posters appeared
prior to the massive demonstrations which took place around the world on
Feb 15th.

Bedminster, Bristol, Mar 2003 As Blair joined with the isolated right wing leaders of the
world to launch the war on Iraq, this poster appeared. Originally an image
that featured dole queues instead of bombs, it was credited as having an
influence in bringing Thatcher to power in 1979.
