Accommodation As recommended in Lonely Planet Great Britain 2005 All of the rooms are newly refurbished. The deluxe double en-suite offers a tester bed with both bath & shower facilities, this room commands attractive views from the bay window down Fore Street & across Hillsborough over the harbour. There is also a spacious King-size bedroom with en-suite bath & shower. The single/ twin room to the rear of the house overlook the south facing gardens & is light & airy. The garden is home to several species of birds & their gentle song creates an air of calm & relaxation. Room rates are £80 for a double/ twin room per night bed & breakfast & £40 for a single room per night bed & breakfast. There is a single occupancy supplement of £15.00 per night on double rooms. A 6 course dinner, bed & breakfast package is available at an additional £20.00 per person per night. A non-refundable deposit of the total cost of the first nights stay is required at the time of booking, we accept most major credit & debit cards. A booking form is available here. Please note for the comfort & safety of all our guests, Wellingtons is a non-smoking building. The character, age & grade 11 listing of the building may pose problems for disabled access, please ask when making a reservation. Due to licensing restrictions children under 14 are not permitted. Located on Waterloo Terrace, Fore Street, in the culinary heart of Ilfracombe, Wellingtons is warm & elegant yet, friendly, intimate & relaxed. Your hosts, John & Suzanne Brown are a husband & wife team with a wealth of experience & qualifications between them in the hospitality & food service industry. Because of the limited number of covers, Wellingtons delivers an a la carte menu & offers a highly individual level of service, booking is therefore strongly recommended. The style is both classical & eclectic drawing on influences from around the empire & the owners' environmental & local policies support Devon produce & producers. The restaurant is open all year round Thursday to Saturday in the evening from 7.30pm onwards & is perfect for private parties, special occasions such as wedding breakfasts & those discrete business meetings of groups of 15 or less. During the summer months why not take advantage of the south-facing garden terrace for lunches, dining or just pre-dinner drinks John & Suzanne can design a highly personalised menu for your guests, taking into account all dietary requirements.
