for many years Britain's best biathlete (was 13th and 12th at the
1988 and 1992 Games), and is still capable of great things when
his mind takes charge.
Pretends to be the team grown-up,
and is the 'athletes' representative' to the Board of the British
Biathlon Union.

team's entertainer, with a manic but mostly harmless deviant imagination.

at the 1992 Olympics, but 1994 and 98 coincided with the troughs in
