The Town's Watch Towers
Cardiff’s medieval town wall also included several watchtowers. Regrettably, not much is known about them. They were placed at the most strategic points in the wall where it diverted from a more or less straight course. There may well have been others (Rice Merrick spoke of garretts); but if so, nothing is known about them.
