His
Dad's involvement in motorsport led to Matt
spectating his first RAC rally at the grand age of 6
years old. Since then he's visited a wide variety of
events; such as British Grand Prix, Le Mans 24hr, Rally
Finland, Rally Sunseeker (Bournemouth) and Champ
cars as well as local events at Mallory, Donington Park
and Silverstone circuits. |

got his first taste for competitive driving when he
won a selection day in the MG Scholarship to drive the
Heartland Evening News/Trinity Motors MG ZR.

Cross
country and downhill mountain biking, swimming, rugby union and
skiing. Anything that’s fast or exciting.

| Personal: |
Both
his parents are avid motorsport fans and flag marshals. His Mum
Jane is on record as being Matt's number one fan. The latest member
of his fan club is his baby niece Elenor, who will no doubt be cheering
him on with the rest of the family. |
