Host Company Quality Systems Internal Auditor Course purpose To provide instruction on the principles and techniques of quality auditing. Aim To provide the trainees with practical and theoretical training to ensure they are competent to undertake effective system audit and report the findings. Objectives On completion of the course the delegates should be able to:
Pre-course experience A basic understanding of ISO 9001: 2000 or other quality standards is an advantage but not necessary. Who should attend? Persons requiring knowledge and skills to carry out Internal and supplier quality audits. Tutors Two tutors undertake these courses to provide maximum tutor/delegate participation Programme The major part of the two-day course is concerned with real audits of the host company. Throughout the audit and the presentation of the audit results, each delegate is expected to act as a member of the external audit team which role plays as a major commercial organisation who are considering placing a large order with the Host Company. The culmination of the course is a presentation by the audit teams, of their findings to a panel of host company management. Day 1

Host Company Role Provide suitable training room facilities; access to their quality documentation and to five areas within the Company to audit. Provide a management team to whom the audit findings will be reported. These audits may be used to supplement the Company audit programme. Provide lunch and refreshments each day for up to 20 delegates. In recognition of the above the Host Company is offered a number of places on the course at no charge. |
