when we shall all have a go at making something ourselves.

ST ERTH RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION:
The St Erth Residents Association still needs a secretary and some suggestions
on new projects for the village. We still need members, membership is free and
you don't need to get involved in any committee business if you don't want to.
Our current idea for a new project is seating on the river bank by the church
and on the river bank opposite the fishing lakes. We have obtained
part funding for this but need to find more to go ahead. We also think a
village green joining the play park by the river would be something we could
get involved with. It is important that people realise this association was not
just set up to benefit the Vicarage Gate area of the village- it is for the
benefit of everyone in the whole village.
If you are interested please contact Andy Jones Tel: 01736 753856

HEALTHY SCHOOLS:
Last week, Michael and Teal
accompanied Mrs Glock and Mrs Bode to the presentation ceremony at County Hall
for the second round under the Healthy Schools Scheme. They behaved brilliantly and were a credit to
the School. Well done also to everyone
for supporting our Healthy School Fruit scheme; the children have all done
really well at break times, bringing in fruit instead of their usual packet of
crisps. As part of the Healthy Schools
Scheme and to encourage children to drink water instead of juice or fizzy
drinks, we are providing the children with new drinks bottles to bring to
school on a daily basis. These should be
used only for water and replacements will cost 50p each. Please make sure that you write your
