Chalet Chardon, Les Gets, Portes du Soleil

The Resort:

Les Gets is a charming resort village sitting at an altitude of 1200m in a sunny col on the road from Cluses to Morzine/Avoriaz. It consists largely of traditional chalets and chalet-style hotels and apartments. There are shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets, an open-air ice rink, and a bowling alley. The night-life is modest but lively, with one night-club and several late-night bars, but the bright lights of Morzine are also only a short taxi-ride away. It is an excellent family resort.
