David Marilyn

We've been working on our family trees, off and on, for about 5 years. During that time we've identified around 50 surnames and 180 individuals. We've also managed to put a few other Sullivans in touch with one another. Click the
X-MATCH arrow alongside for details.
Other pages on the site have a collection of schoolroom howlers, a diary written by David's father during the Sicilian campaign of the Second World War, the Polish "Order of Smile" awarded to him in the mid 80s, and some heraldic information about the Sullivan name.

but it's what pays for the free guestbook software!)
Largely by interviewing other members of our families, and with a little help from the General Records Office, our respective family trees now go back through 5 generations, with obscure lateral links to other families. Besides the Sullivan line, David has maternal links to the Halton, Healey, Ithell and Ross lines. Meanwhile, Marilyn (Mandy to me and our friends) was a Whittaker before we got married and has links to the Berry, Dunn and Fawcett lines. Photograph of George Edward Ross and family.
