![]() Wymsey Community Radio - run for the community by the WebSpin Management Contortium. Bringing you the latest in rural news, local happenings and all the fun of English country life. Our team of international reporters will bring the Wymsey world slant to our schedule. WCR's newsfeed is provided by the Wymsey Chronicle. Meet the WCR Team: Susie Sorrel, Station Manager:
"When I was five or six I loved to tune into stations on my Dad's radio and one day he said that I ought to get into the media. So I went to UWAT (University of Watchester) and read Media Studies with Artistic Accounting. After graduating I worked for ten years in hospital radio. You can imagine how excited I am to be Station Manager at WCR."Davie Trembelstorm, News Reader:
"I've been in the news business for many years, it fascinates me , I eat and breathe it, I dream about it, I write poems about it, I've got a rejected novel about it and now I am reading it for all the good people of Wymsey. I'll be doing the weather and shipping forecast too."Andy Vader, Sound Engineer:
"Being the youngest of six kids meant I always got the blame when things went wrong - great training for a sound engineer! I have to say that the studio at WCR has the potential for being a digital nightmare but we can handle it."Jake Jonson-Smith Station Producer:
"I may have paid my dues in biscuits but when it comes to putting a show on the road, I'm the man do it. We're taking our public service remit and we are going to run all round the Parish with it."
