Orlando has become the number one holiday destination, due to its excellent location and proximity to the Disney theme parks , and also due to its excellent year round sunshine.

Theme Parks

Everyone knows about Disney's theme parks , beginning with the Magic Kingdom, M.G.M. Epcot, The Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon , Blizzard Beach, and Pleasure Island, but this is only the tip of the iceberg as more attractions are opening all the time.

You could also visit Universal Studios including the new Islands of Adventure, Sea World, Wet & Wild, Watermania, Cypress Gardens , Even Kennedy Space Center on the east coast, or Busch Gardens at Tampa on the west Coast, also don't forget the many beaches on either the young and lively east coast , or alternatively on the more relaxed West coast with their fine talcum powder like sands. For a view of the more historical side of Florida a trip to St Augustine to see the scenic town & old fort makes an interesting alternative to the theme parks.

There is so much to see and do during the evenings , the theme parks stay open quite late, even until midnight in high season, the fireworks and laser displays are not to be missed!

Dining and Shopping

Why not visit Pleasure Island, Universal Studios Citywalk, and Dining experiences at King Henry's Feast, Medieval Times, Fort Liberty, and Mardi Gras. Additionally you will find a Plethora of restaurants and entertainment close to Indian Point.

Also don't forget the shopping , our villa is ideally placed to take advantage of many local Supermarkets, some are even open 24 hours! Approximately 2 minutes drive from the Villa is an Extremely large Wal-Mart where you can purchase Groceries, Sporting goods, Arts and Crafts materials , Baby equipment , Toys, Pharmaceutical items, Household items, D.I.Y goods and more!

Factory outlet stores are also close by, at these stores you can buy many goods direct from the manufacturers at a fraction of UK prices.

While you are on holiday you may choose to learn to Water-Ski, or Jet-Ski at one of the many hire facilities, maybe an Airboat ride would appeal to you, perhaps Go Karting or even Bungee Jumping, Helicopter Tours are also available, in fact there is so much to see and do you will be spoilt for choice , and will certainly never be able to fit it all into just one vacation.

Location Location Location - Why is it so important?

Many people on Holiday in the Disney area will endeavor to pick accommodation that is close to Disney, but forget to check whether they will also be close to local shops (we've done it ourselves in the past!), this can lead to lengthy drives for groceries, Our villa is close to Disney and Shopping

Don't forget that the villa is ideally placed for easy and quick access to shops and amenities, its proximity to the Parks enables you to return home for a rest and swim at midday , then you can return early evening refreshed to continue the fun and enjoy the firework displays.

Disney at night is especially beautiful , and because of the wonderful weather the evenings are still lovely and warm.

Leaving the Theme parks at midday does not involve any extra costs, just remember to get your hand stamped on leaving, and keep your car parking ticket to show when you return.

Driving in Florida

Driving in Florida couldn't be simpler, hire cars are usually automatic, and air conditioned for your comfort, also the roads are generally straight and wide , speed limits are lower than in the UK and roads are well sign posted, But of course we will provide directions to the villa from the Airport to ease your arrival.
