The changing face has recently been captured in "Castlederg and its Red River Valley", a book of historical notes and photographs compiled by Canon Harry Trimble and Councillor James Emery. This book, recently published (£10 with the proceeds going to charity and available in local bookshops) by two local and long-time residents, gives a picture (and pictures) of Castlederg through the ages. So popular has it been that a new edition is planned for Autumn 2007.
