Fundraising also plays a major part in our activities and the group has taken part
in bag packing, car washes, sponsored events, annual duck and balloon races.
In addition the club has hosted many great social evenings such as Valentine Dinners,
Curry and Buffet Nights enjoyed by many in the community. The group leaders at present are Fallon (Neil) Macarthur and Sheena MacLeod with help from young leaders Kirsty MacLennan and Charles MacLeod. Joan Chisholm played a major role in the group's first 10 years but hung up her leader badge in November 1992 and we thank her for her committment over the years to the club. The Club is grateful to all in the community for their continued support and hope that between the projects completed and our annual clean up we go some way towards repaying the Community. |

Breasclete Junior Youth Club was first formed in November 1992. Catering for
children in the P4 - P7 age group, we meet every Monday night during school term,
6.30 to 8.30pm. As part of the annual programme of events the club takes part in many competitions, trips, fund raising and Community Projects. |

Our first major project was the Gruff Kids Challenge 1994, which involved all the
Youth Club in the restoration of the gardens of Cnoc Mor, an exciting but very
rewarding challenge. The group reached the final of the Keep Scotland Beautiful
competition for their efforts. |
Another project that takes up most if not all the summer is the floral display in
the New Park area. |
