Its an amazing site with so much information relating to Tilburys in the U.K. Plus access on line to Tilbury births, marriages and deaths, plus Tilburys mentioned in census returns, plus Tilburys listed in "The Times" newspaper in the nineteenth century, plus plus! Be sure to visit and save it as a favourite.
Surrey History Centre
This site provides you with a lot of excellent information about anyone and anything in Surrey, plus border locations e.g. parts of Hampshire. It also has some very good links which will help you further your genealogy research.
If you visit the Centre at Goldsworth Road, Woking you can access a wealth of church records which have been put on microfiche and film. Likewise the Surrey census records for the nineteenth century are held here and other useful research items such as archive copies of the "Surrey Advertiser".
The Church of Latter Day Saints
The facilities at this location are truly outstanding you are able to check on line the births, marriages and deaths of many ancestors. Once you become familiar with the site there are lots of "tricks" to give you even more information. It also contains a wealth of information concerning ancestors who made the trip to the States in the nineteenth century.
