I had to mention my cat Nina as she was a great comfort to me through many troubled years. My second wife Amanda and I went to Burton-on-trent to get her from a breeder free of charge because she was a Persian Cross and was unwanted. Nina's uncle was the famous ''Arthur'' from the Spillers Kattomeat ads, so in later years when I developed Normans Cash & Carry own label pet foods, I had her picture printed on the label.

She was neutered at 1yr so never had a litter, but it did keep the toms away. On my travels she came with me to Bideford, Exmouth, Haldon, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth again, Uffculme, Dawlish, Haverfordwest, and finally Elveden. |
