This site really is worth a visit. Sarah went to a local tech school in Exeter and learnt to play steel guitar at the age of 6. She went on to become the top female pedal steel guitarist in the world and is ranked No 3 in the world overall. She has a fantastic voice and a backing band that is top notch. Get to see her at one of her gigs.

Friends Reunited. I have had contact with 3 schoolchums from my days at Dennis Rd school so far and Jean has also been in touch with friends from Teignmouth Grammar school, one of whom, Katrina (pictured right), is now living in Australia. A very interesting site.

This is the estate of the Guinness family and is run by Edward, the current Earl of Iveagh. It has historical links with Juleep Singh. Gill and Neville Turner give a vivid picture of bygone days and there are many other transcripts and old photos to see. If I had'nt had my heart problems I doubt that we would have left Elveden. On this site you can go to 22 other villages in the area.

Birmingham City Football Club. Pete, Paul, and myself have supported them from when we were toddlers. They have never won the F.A Cup or the old 1st Division championship, but they DID win the league cup, beating Aston Villa 3-1 in its early days. For the first time they are now in the Premiership.

This site is for nostalgics as it contains around 2,000 very old photos and snippets of info on almost all suburbs of Birmingham. The old Stirchley, Kings Heath, and Kings Norton photos in particular, bring back memories to me.
