Welcome to the website of the North West Surrey Local Group of the RSPB

Avocet

The North West Surrey Local Group of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds is one of an extensive network of similar groups throughout the United Kingdom providing opportunities for people to learn about birds and the environment at the local level and become involved in nature conservation work and fund raising activities.

Membership of the Group is not restricted to those who live in North West Surrey. The Group holds regular meetings at the Sir William Perkins School, Guildford Road, Chertsey, and if you should live within easy travelling distance of this venue, it is the Group for you. You will be given a most cordial welcome should you decide to join. If you live further afield, information on other local RSPB Groups may be obtained from the RSPB website.

If you are not an RSPB member, you can either join the RSPB via their website, or attend one of the NW Surrey Group meetings when you may also be able to join. You may also obtain information on both joining the North West Surrey Group and the RSPB via this website. Simply go to the "Join the North West Surrey Group" page by clicking the text on the left.

You may view a summary of the Group's activities by clicking the text on the left or by clicking "Next Page" below. Please note that this "Next Page" facility is provided primarily for the benefit of those whose browsers do not support "Frames" and do not see the list of pages on the left.
