MORRISMEN

Bells on their fingers and
Bells on their toes
The Cretinous Morrismen
get up my nose
Its not just the trousers and
ludicrous braces
the vacant expressions
that litter their faces
or the fatuous music that plonks
and jangles as various
standards are put through the mangles
and murdered in cold blood
with instruments blunter
than a cold side of bacon
whose days are numbered
like a man on death row
who butchered his family
and knocked up his sister
and blamed his mother
for all his misfortune
and misery

During the performance of this piece, Mr. Thinktank hit his head a little bit too hard with his trade-mark metal tea tray and was unable to continue with the poem
